We Care When We Can

You are Not Alone when you are part of a community

Whether you have nothing to do with the health sector or you are a health and social care professional, you can have your say about how care services can be improved. So if you are the first to arrive here please don’t shy away from writing something. If you are not sure about anything, please contact me via a post and mark it Private, use email, Linkedin or use our website and leave me a message. I will get back to you as soon as I can.

One thing is for sure, from first hand experience it doesn’t matter whether you are a project manager in business, medical director or nurse in the health care industry, we all struggle with the same problems when it comes to looking after those we care about. Many of us step in to cover gaps left by overstretched systems, not as a job, but as part of everyday life.
So, whether you are caring for a parent, supporting a neighbour, or navigating fragmented services, this space is for you.

Our goal is to gather stories, insights, and ideas to design a better approach – one that supports care at a local level, shaped by the people who actually do the work.

This is not about complaining.
It is about being honest, collaborative, and practical.

Here are a few prompts you can respond to:

  • Have you had to step in to organise or coordinate care?
  • What would have helped you in that moment?
  • Have you found a clever workaround or local solution?
  • What small change would make a big difference?

What Comes Next

We are starting small but together we can co-design something better.

If you believe the system can work better when shaped from the ground up, you are in the right place.
